Update!

I will post pictures this weekend!  Sorry it's been a little crazy around here......
Jonathan made the A/B Honor roll last 6 weeks at school - we are working on Math, as that was the only subject he made the B in.

He is playing Upward basketball at First Baptist Wylie.  He made 3 baskets last weekend.  He is an awesome little player - we are working on teaching him to pass to his teammates, which he is getting better at.

Zachary turned 3 - and is now potty trained!  Took about 4 days!  I am excited.....

He got fire trucks and police rescue helicopters.....

He is learning bible scripture at preschool.....this Sunday he opened the Bible randomly and said, "Do not be afraid and GOD SAiD, GIVE me GUMMY BEARS!"  we all laughed!

tomorrow night we are going to "Boo on Ballard" which is downtown Wylie - kids go to area business' and trick or treat, etc.  Jonathan is dressing up like a "S.W.A.T." member and Zachary is a cowboy!  He says he is Woody!

Summer Update!

Sorry - We've been a little busy this summer!  I will try to do this in order the best that I can!  Something is better than nothing, right?!?

Zachary and Daddy at the pool!

Jonathan - Main Event

Driving game - funny thing is they were both out of tokens, but they believed that they were driving so they had fun anyway!  Guess it is the simple things! :o)

The boys were sitting in this roller coaster simulator, when another little boy came by and slid his card across to pay for their ride - they had a blast!  I had to carry Zachary out kicking and screaming - he didn't want to go home!

a mother's bracelet I made - am going to restrand to add more beads!

Getting ready for the 4th of July Parade!

Card set I made for Ami as a going away gift.

memory wire bracelet I made!

Hopefully I can stay a little bit more caught up!

Jonathan's 1st Fish

Jonathan caught his first 15 1/2" bass at Mimi and Papa's house yesterday!  He was so excited - he actually called and asked if he could bring it home to cook up for supper!  I told him to leave it for mimi and papa! :o)

I told him that I was 7 when I caught my first fish with my Maw-Maw - she would be so proud! :O)

Easter Eggstravaganza - 2010

Today was the easter egg hunt at our church!  Of course Jonathan was all over it - he is a pro by now!  Zachary was in the field with all of the eggs and he picked up 8 and said "I'm Done!"

Fun, but very windy!

Snow Day!

Who would have thought that yesterday we would have 6" of snow on the ground and today it feels almost like 80!  Only in Texas!

Friday - Our trip home!

We made it to the airport - got on our first leg of the trip from Orlando to Miami - we arrive at Miami - at 10:00 -  I thought the next flight left at 10:50 - but when I look at the boarding passes I read 10:20 - so we attempt to start running through the airport - Zachary of course is wanting to act 2 now and lay on the floor and scream!  I pick him up and am running - he is so heavy and I want to cry but I don't want to miss this flight!  We get to the gate at 10:20 - to discover that is the boarding time - flight leaves at 10:50 UGH!

Once on the plane and seated when we prepare for take off we are told that the coffee pot water line is leaking so we cannot depart yet!  An hour and a half later - we are off!  Any hoo!  We made it home finally - but we are all tired!  I am thankful at this time that we had a condo with a washer and dryer and I literally did all of the laundry except the clothes on our back so atleast the suitcases are full of clean clothes!

We are thinking next spring break we will travel somewhere closer by CAR!
:o)

Thursday - Spring Break

Yeah - Today is our last day at the park - boys are both in a very good mood - the weather has been great all week!

We arrive at the park - and we saw the "Dancin in the Street" parade and the boys literally danced in the street!  They were having so much fun - you can't help but smile with them.

We went on a train as our last ride around the park - we pointed out to Zachary - "Look at the deer"  He said, Ahh, deer, where santa clause!  We were rolling with laughter!

Wednesday - Spring Break

The boys are still really tired, especially Jonathan. You can see it in his face and is wanting to cry everytime Zachary gets near him - oh boy!  We arrive at the park around 11:30 - where they see Lilo and Stitch and Jonathan is just really moody.  He just wants to sit in the stroller and keeps saying he is cold - we notice that he is shaking!  We make it up to the first aid station where we determine that he is running 102.6 fever - they give us motrin - we decide to head back to the condo - where I can run to Walgreens and pick up a prescription and continue to dose him up with motrin and tylenol and he sleeps!  He wakes up around 6:30 feeling much better - so we decide to salvage the day and head back to the park - where we then stay from 7:30 - 12:30 - and see the fireworks and a lighted parade - rides were less crowded so we determined that we made up in 4 hours what we could have done all day!  All was not a total loss! :o)

Tuesday - Spring Break

After going to bed at nearly 1am - (boys aren't used to the time change/plus the time difference) we got up early to have a character breakfast at Disney's Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios!  Saw Jo-jo and Goliath and Leo and June from Little Einsteins!  The boys had a blast - Jonathan is exhausted from the traveling!  Spent the day at Hollywood and rode a boat to Epcot.

Monday - Spring Break

We finally left the hotel/orlando airport at NOON - to drive to the condo we are staying in!  We got everything unpacked, took showers and made it to Magic Kingdom around 4:30 - Rode it's a small world first - zachary told all the characters at the end "Bye bye kids - so you morrow!"

My favorite part was the "Winnie the Pooh Playground"!

Scott and I got a break!

Day 1 of spring break travels

Well - our family proceeded to start out the day on the right foot - even with the time change we managed to make it to the airport with an hour and a half to spare before our flight was to leave!

Our flight was delayed by 30 minutes, but somehow we managed to catch up so we were only 2 minutes late arriving in Atlanta!  We got off that plane and had to hurry, hurry, hurry to make it to our connecting flight - but no worries because we arrive at the gate at exactly 6:55pm - well, much to our disappointment - the airlines release your seats if you are not at the boarding gate 15 minutes prior to flight time!

UGH!  The airline tells us not to worry - you will go stand by on the next flight at 8:15pm - well - we got called but they only had 2 seats left - so we decided to pass because we didn't want to split up!  No prob - the next flight leaves at 8:55 - so we rush to that gate/terminal to discover yet again - they only have 2 seats left - so we decide that Zachary and I will go ahead and Scott and Jonathan will follow at 9:30pm - BUT we arrive safely at Florida to hear from Scott that they did not make that next flight!  Now the fun begins - I text scott to tell him my battery on my cell is about to die, but I will proceed to get the rental car and drive to the hotel and we will catch up tomorrow!  I proceed to the rental car terminal to discover that my wallet with my ID and all my credit cards are in the bag that Scott has in Atlanta!  Of course by this time Zachary is crying because he wants his Bubba - I start crying!  We are good for the night - as I type this it is 1:30 am and Zachary and I are sitting in the Hyatt lobby that is in the Orlando airport - I chuckle a little because I have no money to my name, however I ended up with the laptop and 2 portable DVD players - Scott and Jonathan are being shuttled as we speak to a local hotel in atlanta until the morning - The general manager here is awesome - he let me borrow a charger for my cell phone so i may stay in contact with my husband - and he has supplied me with a night supply of COKE to drink so I can stay awake and some pretzels and granola bars! UPDATE!  At 3am Scott faxes a copy of the credit card with authorization - and the GM gives me the last room they have - at not a cheap rate - but nonetheless it is a place to sleep!  Scott had a wake up call for 4:30 as he and Jonathan are getting on the 6:55am flight - so I stayed awake until 5am and slept until 8:30 -- when scott and Jonathan arrived safely!  More details to follow!
